Canada Post Strike

Canada Post mail service has resumed, but please note that delays may occur because of backlogs. The Residential Tenancy Office encourages those using mail delivery to plan accordingly. Applications and documents may be filed by email, in-person or by fax.

You can file applications or documents by:

  • email to askrental@peirentaloffice.ca
  • by fax: 902-566-4076
  • drop off in person at the Rental Office located on the 5th Floor, National Bank Tower, 134 Kent Street, PO Box 577, Charlottetown, PE C1A 7L1
  • drop off at any Access PEI location (applications or documents stamped at Access PEI are considered to be filed with the Rental Office the same day)
  • commercial courier service

Notices and Orders issued by the Rental Office are commonly sent via email, however, if email is not possible, the Rental Office will use a courier to deliver documents to Parties.
